We regret to inform you that on January 20, Diego Salmerón Godoy passed away at the age of 90.

It is very news for the Spanish Gardens sector because he was our founder, and he created the Los Peñotes Garden Center (Alcobendas-Madrid).

Diego was a person recognized throughout the plant, gardening and florist sector in Spain for his great openness and willingness to collaborate in everything.

He served as President of the Spanish Association of Garden Centers on a couple of occasions and was a pioneer of garden centers in our country. He was a strong supporter of IGCA and he attended most of the IGCA congresses when he was active.A great friend of the green sector is leaving worldwide.
